Delete My Account

You can request deletion of your Bike Trip Planner account and all associated personal data at any time.

All your data is erased permanently and cannot be recovered.

1Delete directly in the app Recommended

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Bike Trip Planner app. Your account is removed instantly.

  1. Open the Bike Trip Planner app on your phone.
  2. Tap your profile avatar in the top-right corner.
  3. Go to Settings → Account.
  4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

2Submit a request by email

If you cannot access the app, send us an email from the address associated with your account. Include the subject line below so we can identify your request quickly.

Include: The email address registered on your account and your full name.

What data is deleted?

Account credentials (email, password hash)
Profile information (name, photo, bio, phone)
All trips created or joined by you
GPS route history and ride records
Emergency contacts you have saved
Performance stats and achievements
Invite links and codes you generated
Device tokens and push notification settings
Data we may retain after deletion

We may retain certain data for up to 90 days in encrypted server logs for fraud prevention and legal compliance, after which it is purged automatically. Anonymised, aggregated route statistics that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.

Deletion timeline

Day 0
Request received
Your deletion request is logged and confirmed by email within 1 business day.
Day 1–7
Account deactivated
Your account is immediately locked. You cannot log in and your profile is hidden from other users.
Day 7–30
Data purged
All personal data, trips, routes and associated records are permanently deleted from our databases.
Day 90
Logs cleared
Any residual server log entries containing your IP or identifiers are automatically purged.
